1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using FreelanceTimer.pro ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.
2. License Grant
2.1 Free Version (Windows)
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Download and install the Software on your personal computer(s)
- Use the Software for personal or commercial freelance work
- Store and manage your own business data locally
2.2 Open Source License
FreelanceTimer.pro is open source software. The source code is available on GitHub at github.com/yourrepo.

3. Restrictions

Note: Reverse engineering and modification are governed by the open source license terms.
4. User Data & Privacy

You retain all rights, title, and ownership of data you create, store, or manage using the Software. This includes:

- Time entries
- Invoices
- Project data
- All other user-generated content
4.2 Local Storage
The Software stores your data locally on your device. We do not collect, access, or store your data on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5.1 Your Email Account
When you use the email invoice feature, you use your own email account (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) via SMTP protocols.
- You are responsible for the content of emails sent through the Software
- You must comply with your email provider's terms of service
- You must comply with anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, etc.)
- We are not responsible for emails sent from your account
5.2 Prohibited Email Use
You may not use the Software to:
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial email
- Impersonate others
- Send fraudulent invoices
- Violate any applicable laws
6. Donations
6.1 Donationware Model
FreelanceTimer.pro is free donationware. You may use the Software at no cost.
Donations are voluntary and support ongoing development, bug fixes, and new features. Donations do not grant additional rights or features beyond what is available in the free version.
6.2 Payment Processing
Donations are processed by PayPal. Their terms apply to your transaction.
6.3 No Refunds
Donations are non-refundable as they support development time already invested. However, if you're unsatisfied for any reason, contact us at support@freelancetimer.pro and we'll work something out.
7. Updates & Support

We may release updates, bug fixes, and new features. Updates are:
- Free for all users
- Optional (you can choose when to update)
- Announced via our website and GitHub

- Documentation and troubleshooting guides

- Best-effort basis (no guaranteed response times)
We do not guarantee specific response times or issue resolution.
8. Warranties & Disclaimers

We do not guarantee that:

- The Software will be error-free or bug-free
- Data will be accurately calculated or stored
- Email invoices will be successfully delivered
8.3 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Verifying time entries and calculations
- Reviewing invoices before sending
- Backing up your data
- Complying with tax and accounting regulations
9. Limitation of Liability
Scenarios We're Not Liable For:
- Incorrect invoices sent to clients
- Missed billable hours due to software errors
- Tax penalties from miscalculated time
- Lost clients due to software issues
- Email delivery failures
Your sole remedy: Stop using the Software.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FreelanceTimer.pro, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

- Content you send via email invoices

You may stop using the Software at any time by uninstalling it.

- You must uninstall the Software
- You may export your data before uninstalling
